Book city train Kompiainen for your group now! Kompiainen is a fun going game e.g. for kindergarten and school group trips, various events, city tours, recreation days, bachelor parties and pub crawls.

Kompiainen can be booked for charter use from spring to autumn. During the summer season, charter trips are possible in the evenings outside scheduled traffic (see schedule below).

The city train has 52 seats. There are two disabled places on the train.

Scheduled service

During 27.6.-7.8.200 Kompiainen operates between Oulu City centre, Vauhtipuisto amusement park and Nallikari Beach according to the following schedule:

Nallikari – Vauhtipuisto 11.00, 12.00, 13.00, 14.00, 15.00, 16.00, 17.00

Vauhtipuisto - city center 11.10, 12.10, 13.10, 15.10, 16.10, 17.10

City center - Vauhtipuisto 11.30, 12.30, 13.30, 15.30, 16.30, 17.30

Vauhtipuisto – Nallikari 11.45, 12.45, 13.45, 15.45, 16.45, 17.45

Departure from the Oulu city center, Snellman Park (opposite of Oulu City Hall) and from the Nallikari Beach, cars' turning point at the end of the beach. You can also use the train to get between the center and Nallikari.

The Kompiainen city train ride is included in the price of the Vauhtipuisto entrance ticket and season ticket. The Vauhtipuisto entrance ticket can be purchased on the train. One-time Kompiainen city train ticket excluding the Vauhtipuisto entrance ticket 8 eur / adult and 4 eur / child 5-14 years. Children under 5 years free of charge. Payment by card and cash.
