Day Trip from Oulu to Liminka Bay (Liminganlahti)

This is a guaranteed departure that is implemented without a minimum number of participants. The price is the price of a return ticket. The European Disability Card holder's assistant travels on our tour bus free of charge when the card has an A mark. The cardholder pays for his/her own trip.

If you have a larger group (5 people or more), please buy tickets or let us know in advance the night before departure by 6.00 pm on 08 655 5100 so that we will be able to book a sufficiently large bus. Reserve your own seat also for a child aged 0-3.

Bike capacity is 5. We recommend purchasing the bike place online in advance to secure your place. If there are remaining bike places, the bike place can also be purchased on the bus. If your group has more than 5 bikes, contact well in advance [email protected] or tel +358 8 655 5100 so we can change to a larger 10-bike trailer.

Liminka Bay Services

The Eight Seasons of Birds' Year exhibition at Liminka Bay Visitor Centre is open daily from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. You can study the annual cycle from the birds' perspective. The starring role is played by the varied bird species of Liminka Bay but the exhibition also explores the life of birds more generally. Many people who have visited the Eight Seasons of Birds exhibition say that it is the best nature exhibition ever. The exhibition has been designed for families with children. However, it also provides fascinating and topical information for passionate bird enthusiasts.

Free birdlife guidance at the Virkkula bird watching tower on Fridays starting July 1 from 10-12 (weather reservation). The birdlife guide has a telescope and binoculars to lend to customers. Binoculars can also be borrowed from the visitor center.

There are well-marked mountain biking trails leaving from the visitor centre. Further information about Liminka mountain biking trails Visit Liminka website.

You can bring your own bike for an extra charge or rent a bike from the visitor centre. The duration of the bike rental for Saaga Travel day trip customers is from 10.30 to 12.30. Terms and conditions

1. Guaranteed departure and Saaga Travel's right to cancel the trip

Day trip to Liminka Bay is operated as guaranteed departure. If there is one client, the route will be operated.

If there are no passengers from Oulu to Liminka Bay, there will be no return trip from Liminka Bay to Oulu.

We recommend to book the trip by 18.00 the night before the departure in order to be able to estimate the number of passengers and to determine the right size of the bus.

2. The customer's right to cancel a trip they have already purchased

The customer has the right to cancel the booking. If a trip already purchased is canceled by the customer no later than three days before departure, we will withhold a cancellation fee of EUR 10 and refund the balance of the amount paid.

If canceled by the customer up to two days before date of departure, no fee will be refunded.

We recommend to have a travel insurance, which covers cancellation and accidents and illnesses during the trip.
